Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

  • Clint Patterson - Lead Elder/Church Plantor

    Clint is married to his wonderful wife Amanda (24 years) and has 3 boys, Ridge (24), Roan (20), and Reid (18). Clint is a lifelong resident of Leesburg, Florida, his true “hometown.” Clint is a 5th generation Lake/Sumter County resident. His parents (Charlie & Pam Patterson) still live in the same house that he was raised in since 1976. Clint became a Christian while attending First Baptist Church in Leesburg (his “hometown” church), while being an active member of the youth program. It was during his high school years, that he made a commitment to full-time Christian ministry. Clint has attended the local public schools in the area, while graduating from his “hometown” school, Leesburg High School in 1994. After his AA Degree from Lake-Sumter Community College (his “hometown” college), he graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BS degree in Physical Therapy. After years of working as a physical therapist, Clint graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree. Since becoming an ordained Southern Baptist pastor, he has served in numerous ministry roles, which have included: church planter, Connections pastor, Youth minister, and Senior Pastor. Clint currently works full time as a Physical Therapist with Lake Centre Home Care. Since Leesburg is his true “hometown” city and his true “home” is with Jesus, Clint is excited to be a part of leading Hometown Baptist Church!

  • Teddy Peck - Elder

    Teddy is a native of Central Florida. He has a heart for serving our youth and college and career ministries. He is a big kid at heart. Teddy and his wife Lindsay are proud parents of three children: Teddy V, Brayelynn, and Ellie. Teddy enjoys fishing, and video games, and is an avid sports fan.

  • Lindsay Peck - Children's Director

    has lived in Lake County Florida much of her lifetime. Lindsay has a heart for Families and Children. Lindsay is currently a senior at Liberty University finishing her Bachelor of Science in Religion: in next-generation and family ministries. Teddy and Lindsay have three kids: Teddy V, Brayelynn, and Ellie. She enjoys Being with her family, date nights, and all things Star Wars and Marvel.
